Versatile leader with 15+ years in corporate strategy, governance, and complex project delivery across environment, health, tech, media, and design sectors in government. With a background in Philosophy and experience in project management and design thinking, I bring both structured problem-solving and a human-centred lens to my work. I am particularly interested in shaping strategies, driving cross-sector collaboration, and delivering initiatives that create meaningful, real-world impact.
Established the Shared Services team to centralise and support administrative functions across divisions, significantly boosting efficiency and consistency in the council. Led a multi-functional team across Shared Services, Governance, and Knowledge Management, fostering a collaborative and purpose-driven work environment, and delivering council-wide process and system improvements.
Shaped the council's strategic direction and fortified its governance structures to drive national design objectives. Translated high-level strategy into actionable plans, securing stakeholder buy-in from senior government and industry leaders, and co-led the development of the council’s first annual report card and Objectives, and Key Results (OKR) dashboard, creating a data-driven approach to corporate reporting. Oversaw end-to-end procurement, implementation and project management of Singapore Design Week survey for three editions (2022 to 2024). Additionally, represented the council as a panelist at the World Designers Congress 2024, sharing insights on design's economic and social impact in Singapore.
Played a pivotal role in steering the council through a significant organisational transition by establishing foundational governance structures, including frameworks for the provision of honoraria and sponsorships. Concurrently strengthened organisational resilience by implementing an annual Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) exercises and establishing a Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework. Managed ministerial engagements, and transitioned organisational performance management from Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to OKRs.
Led strategic and corporate planning during a period of organisational transformation. Drove national-level analysis on data analytics and artificial intelligence to strengthen Singapore’s competitiveness, synthesised cross-government and industry insights for senior leadership, and contributed to a Cabinet paper through regional digital policy analysis.
Drove the development of the organisation's long-term strategic vision, ensuring alignment with national healthcare goals. Drove a culture of accountability by creating a clear line of sight between national health outcomes and divisional KPIs, guiding resource allocation and performance management. In addition, consolidated and framed cross-divisional inputs for key speeches delivered by Ministers at the annual Committee of Supply debates.
Advanced Singapore's "City in a Garden" vision by driving strategic initiatives, securing substantial partnerships, and championing community engagement. Combined strategic planning with on-the-ground execution to enhance public outreach and programme success.
Delivered engaging and effective undergraduate tutorials for a core introductory module. Achieved an overall effectiveness rating above the faculty average in the official student feedback exercise, recognised for clarity, communication, and dedication to student learning.
