I’m a chemistry and life sciences undergraduate at NUS passionate about problem-solving, learning, and making meaningful contributions through science. Over the years, I’ve gained experience in both working experience and hands-on lab work. I’m excited to keep growing in this space and am exploring opportunities for graduate studies and further research down the line. I am inclined toward the biochemistry, molecular biology and cancer field. I am always open to hear about new research opportunities and ways for me to learn and contribute more for the betterment of society.

PI: Asst. Prof Cheok Chit Fang (Pathology) Project: Conducted drugging of ovarian cancer spheroids to test mitochondrial inhibitors. Explored synergistic targeting of separate mechanistic pathways for increased cancer inhibition in ovarian cancer. • Proficient in cell culture, cell drugging, spheroid assay, cancer biology, cell viability assays such as WST-1 Assay and data analysis
• Operated equipment such as optical microscopes, rheometers, viscometers, laser diffraction particle size analyzers, UHT machines, high-pressure steam cookers and homogenizers • Authored 6 detailed internal scientific reports covering experimental design, thorough data analysis, and clear interpretation of results across diverse projects • Led projects end-to-end, from managing trial planning and experimental execution to data analysis, reporting, and presenting findings to stakeholders • Worked with starch, fibres and sweeteners in dairy and gum products • Conducted sensory analysis and research and product analysis
• Owner of home-based Bakery • Managed marketing strategies, design initiatives, social media presences, sustained a monthly profit of $1000 while working two days a week • Conducted R&D on the ingredients to make products more cost-effective while maintaining the quality and flavour of the food product, experimenting with different ingredients to optimize the recipe
