• Management of BOM status and development of the parts through APQP, PPAP package for new product introduction. • Propose design deviations when needed and validate them wth statiscal toolings, proficiency in Minitab. • Prepare PPAP documentation and try outs validation. • Risk assessment preparation, mitigation plan, supplier and overall risk for launch events. • Main key contact on suppliers new products launch by providing support in the assembly line and develop of 8D formats for detected non-conformities to find root cause and implement ICA.
• Quality process confirmation of suppliers incoming components to the assembly line. • Warranty failure mode analysis, development and verification of 8D and 6 panel, root cause traceability with ICA & PCA to prevent recurrence. • Technical assistance to suppliers at the assembly line, PDCA on problem solving and continuous improvement of workstations and processes. • Lead critical suppliers analysis within KPI’s to prevent systemic recurrence.
• Review of process plan and continuous update of the process FMEA. • New processes simulation to achieve improvements with minimum and controlled risks. • Value stream mapping and analysis, productive material flow during operation following KPI’s. • BOM analysis and update of design changes to avoid potential issues on the incoming quality parts and track CTQ for the next process. • Green Belt projects developed on critical workstations to guarantee safety and ergonomics of the operators avoiding equipment and operations downtime.
• Tooling and components design based on specifications and DVP&R delivered by OEM using Solidworks and Fusion 360, • On site layout preparation for SOP, homeline validation and trial run through PPAP and APQP. • Management of technical manpower and timing plan preparation to achieve deadlines and guarantee completion of the project's milestones. • Structures and platforms systems with walking surfaces design, pipes systems development for Unilever to transfer differents quemical materials, fluid flows calculaton using Ansys CFX and finite element study with Solidworks.
• Tooling design and improvement of existing equipment along manufacture and maintenance team to reduce and eliminate ergonomics issues in the assembly line. • Tooling sign off within multidisciplinary team, guarantee completion of launch stages based on standards and procedures. • Materials procurement within obsolete equipment to reduce cost impact and avoid downtime with a correct preventive maintenance plan.
