Keeping your head cool in the heat of a stressful job is not a skill teachable in a classroom. We learn to stay level-headed by facing stressful situations head-on and overcoming challenges in the moment. Through years of producing and executing video productions and live events, I have honed my skill set to reflect my strengths in adaptability, problem solving, conflict resolution, and customer satisfaction.
- Plan, schedule, and execute technical operations for all non-educational events. - Improve budgets and billing procedures to better match the technology services offered. - Hire, train, and manage our staff of full-time professionals, as well as contracted freelancers, and part-time student workers. - Organize, optimize, and inventoried our substantial stock of equipment housed across the entire campus.
- Coordinate production process from ideation to execution. - Establish best-practice processes to bring workflow to higher levels of efficiency. - Provide organization and maintenance for all production equipment including camera, lenses, lights, grip gear, etc. - Act as professional cinematographer, audio engineer, grip/electrician, producer, or assistant director at any notice.
- Organize, develop, and guide video production from creation to distribution. - Act as director, cinematographer, producer, or editor at a moment's notice with individual job needs. - Navigates client relations and communication through entire production process. - Anticipates needs of projects and teams before and during shoots. - Adapts to job responsibilities smoothly as necessities change.
- Prepare the set with lights, props, equipment etc. - Assist directors, camera department and other crew members - Print and distribute daily paperwork (e.g. scripts, call sheets) - Escort actors around the filming area and coordinate extras - Conduct crowd control by putting up signs, directing pedestrians away from filming, and lock down sets etc. - Perform administrative work - Undertake errands as assigned
