I’m Gabriel, currently in my first year of Information Technology. I hold a Higher Nitec diploma in Cyber & Network Security from ITE, and I’ve gained practical technical support experience during my internship at GovTech Singapore. During my time at ABEX CREATION PTE. LTD, a Singaporean brand offering a wide range of high-performance yet affordable laptops and desktops, I built my expertise in diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and stress-testing computer systems. I’m passionate about fortifying systems and networks from vulnerabilities. I’m sharpening my skills in firewall configuration, wireless network security, software and hardware troubleshooting, and system optimization under pressure. From technical support to hands-on repairs and diagnostics, I aim to develop a robust understanding of both cybersecurity fundamentals and real-world hardware resilience.
Diagnosed and troubleshot hardware and software issues in desktops and laptops. Performed repairs, component replacements, and system upgrades (RAM, storage, cooling). Conducted stress testing to ensure optimal performance and stability under load. Assisted in quality control checks for newly built or refurbished systems. Gained hands-on experience in PC assembly, maintenance, and performance optimization.
I helped with onboarding and offboarding of employees and worked as a help desk for employees with software or hardware issue.
