My work and interest are global research funding, policy and international Higher Education. I acquired an in-depth high level experience in developing policy advice on the basis of informed research output. Extensive record in the design and implementation of highly innovative projects, including the establishment of new double degree courses with partner institutions in the US, China and Europe. Record of establishing multilateral institutional collaborations and university representative offices abroad. Senior level experience in strategic planning and ‘foresight’ planning in elite higher education institutions, international research funders and associations. On 29 November 2018 I have been awarded the Annual Prize of the Young Academy of Europe Specialities: international collaborations; research strategy and development, international higher educations systems; negotiations in academic affairs
The European Alliance for Social Sciences and Humanities (EASSH) brings together scientific networks, associations, disciplines and universities. The main purpose of EASSH is to promote research on social sciences and humanities as a resource for Europe and the world and be a single voice for the SSH community in the research policy debate.
