Legal trainee under the supervision of Judge Yüksel and legal advisors in the Directorate of the Jurisconsult - Preparing draft chamber judgments; - Discussing draft chamber decisions/ judgments; - Working on an analytical report on Business and Human Rights, especially on operation of general principles in specific areas of business (incl. seizures, asset-freezing, confiscations; taxes and duties; financial institutions; insolvency); - Preparing a report on specific aspects of Art. 6 ECHR in criminal procedures; - Research on on the jurisprudence of the European Court of Human Rights;
- Conducting policy research and analysis - particularly focusing on cooperation in criminal matters (incl. the role of police at the heart of the EU’s internal security strategy), human rights, defence policy, and migration; - Preparing for and attending Parliamentary Committees - particularly focusing on fundamental rights; - Preparing for plenary sessions (incl. delegation to Strasbourg); - Writing briefs and drafting speeches;
