Project Manager at Autodesk Consulting delivering enterprise customer projects in the manufacturing industry (CAD, PDM and PLM). Responsible for: • Develop and manage the project plan, • Measure and evaluate the project progress, • Identify and resolve the project issues, • Manage the statement of work and the change requests, • Organize and moderate kickoff and closing meetings, project status calls and meetings, • Communicate with the Customer Project Manager, • Build project team in collaboration with the Resource Manager and the Product Line Managers, • Ensure approval and acceptance of project deliverables.
As a member of management, I am actively involved in the technical choices and strategies established by Hurni Engineering Sarl. In addition to my duties as an Application and Sales Engineer, I follow up new Autodesk products. Managing 9 Engineers and Technicians, I supervise the team organization and provide training on new products. I also organize and supervise the development of Inventools along with various client applications and mock-up future development projects.
My work for Hurni Engineering Sarl has always been strongly pre-sales oriented in close collaboration with the commercial department. In this context, I prepare and present demonstrations and benchmarks on all Autodesk software products offered by Hurni Engineering Sarl. On a technical side, thanks to my interest in new products Hurni Engineering Sarl has reached a recognized place among Autodesk resellers. I provide many consulting services, client advisory, implementation of working method and training to our customers. Based on customer requests, I have designed and developed additional tools to Inventor (Inventools) to automate tasks and increase user productivity.
Attached to the customer service, I provided tracking and canvassing of customers (sewage operators, commune officials and engineering offices) establishing services offerings from simple electromechanical systems to complete renovation of water treatment plant.
Only Application Engineer in the western Switzerland office, my work for Cimalog Systems SA has always been versatile and autonomous. It consisted of preparing and presenting demonstrations or benchmarks on CAD/CAM/PDM solutions developed by Cimalog Systems SA. I also provided training, hotline, on-site support (installation and update), database configuration and post-processors programming for our customers.
