About

I'm a professional with international experience in the fields of medical devices, industrial adhesive applications, lab automation systems and electrical engineering. Having a degree in electrical engineering and one in business administration gives me the ability to work in cross-functional positions with positive results. Thanks to my actual and past assignments in which I've been working in customer support-, after sales- and sales positions, I've build a good understanding in satisfying the company's- and the customers needs on the same level. It makes me feel very comfortable working in an international environment, I enjoy being in touch with people of different cultures and having the chance to make use of my language skills. My mother tongues are Italian and German. I'm also fluent in English, Portuguese,French and I have a good understanding of Spanish. Either working in a team or conducting a one man show, I feel good doing both. I like to build up long term relations with all stakeholders, generally short term thinking is not compatible with my view about doing business.

    Testing and installing wiring systems (lighting, security, fire) and equipment. Working according architects drawings, wiring diagrams and either worked in homes, office buildings, Hospitals or factories in the heavy industry. Maintenance and testing of both new and old electrical equipment and wiring and connecting of complex electrical and electronic appliances according wiring diagrams or blue prints. I worked in the following areas during my experience as electrician: Re-wiring homes, laying cables on building sites, testing systems in factories, installing CCTV system in department stores, installing equipment for mobile phone antennas, installing equipment for IT server rooms and its electrical components as well.

    Supervision of the Quality Operations Team and monitoring of manufacturing activities to be in compliance with the requirements, such as 21CFR part 820, ISO 13485 and the company quality manual (including internal- and supplier deviations/non-conformities, CAPA, Change Control, coordination of serious and major customer Complaints and recall activities). Making sure Quality Systems performance is monitored, reported and consistently met (e.g. Quality Circle metrics, …). Development of strategy or action plans in response of any potential unfavorable trend. Providing direction, prioritizing activities, assignment of objectives, development and coaching the Quality Operations team. As well as ensuring excellent working relationship and close collaboration between the Quality Operations team and product engineering and other teams (e.g., R&D, manufacturing, product management) to contribute to product conformance with all product realization and risk management processes, but also to on-time and on-budget delivery of complete products. Contribution to Local/Global process enhancement and continuous improvement initiatives as per Site objectives & strategy. Attended successful authorities inspections and corporate audits- preparation of requested documents and support in different roles (i.e. subject matter expert for non-conformity process, scribe notes or runner) as needed.

  • Sales & Service Technician Adhesive DACH/FR/IT at Nordson Corporation

    Supporting customers by phone and on site to optimize their production lines, advising them to procure critical system components, spare parts and consumables. Creation of quotes for new equipment and spare parts. Conduction of customer training on customer's site. Accomplishing installations-, placing into operation- , maintenance-, inspections- and repairs of adhesive application equipment. Creation of installation-, customer service reports and maintenance of activities in the CRM system.

  • Area Sales Manager Industrial Applications CH/DE at Nordson Corporation

    Responsible for the existing customer base and acquisition of new customers from the industry in Switzerland and Germany. Sales negotiations and consulting customers with new systems and technologies in the areas of adhesive applications. Creation of quotes and presentations to specific customer needs, in collaboration with the project engineers. Customer support for Commercial and Technical inquiries.

  • Service Technician International at Hocoma AG

    Planning and accomplishment of installations, repair and maintenance for Lokomat® and Erigo® worldwide. Conduction of technical product training for customers. Sales support for quote calculations for Individual service calls and respectively support of the sales department in correct billing for these service calls. Various administrative tasks, maintenance and update of installed base in ERP system. Providing 2nd level support for customers by phone and mail in order to minimize down time of the instruments. Translation of documents from German to Italian and English (e.g. service documentations), assistance in the creation of training concepts for the field service engineers.
