Work closely with senior management to meet the goals and objectives of the client, by ensuring that HSE systems are developed, implemented and maintained including updates to existing processes and procedures. Chair HSE committee meetings, deliver presentation of HSE incidents to client after completion of incident investigation, to ensure compliance of 20+ sub contractor companies with regards to HSE standards client requirements, including training, auditing, mentoring, and local populous development. Focal point for all HSE issues within the 4 PL model and liaison with external parties including local and national policing agencies with regards to Hazardous materials movement, Outsize dimension cargo and Transport Execution Plans Lead the identification, creation and implementation of appropriate responses and controls. Assess in a pro-active manner the potential and actual HSE risks across the project and develop a risk register Assist key personal to manage incidents, incident investigations and reporting to senior management Ensure safety approaches, standards and practices are consistent across the project.
Train and manage 3-4 interior based teams, attend accident scenes as the lead Accident investigator and compile reports on audits, accidents, scheduled tasking and performance appraisals as required Team leader of Interior team for road safety – Petroleum Development Oman (shell concession) organization and coordination of daily routine and non-routine works of the team. Observations and counselling as required for on-road driver behaviour- with emphasis on defensive driving habits and adherence to statutory road rules and regulations Quality audit of vehicle workshops and inspectors. Road safety campaigns including PowerPoint presentations to all levels of staff. Health and safety a high profile part of this position.
