As an ENT surgeon at BovenIJ hospital, I provide high-quality care for patients with ear, nose, and throat disorders. I wrote over 30 scientific medical articles and hold a PhD in obesity. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my close friends and family, practicing sports, and traveling to places I haven't been before.

As a participant of the Doctor meets Director (DmD) programme, I was scheduled in one-to-one sessions with Ernst Kuipers over the course of a year. Following his footstepes, I gained more insight in the challenges of the Dutch Health Care system and the organisation, government and management of one of the largest academic hospitals in the Netherlands, the Erasmus MC.
