Leading the biochar carbon certification process, including project documentation, monitoring, and audit coordination. Ensuring compliance with Uganda's Carbon Market Regulation and environmental legislation. Stakeholder engagement with regulatory authorities and local communities.
Overseeing of the technical operations, including the conceptualization, implementation, documentation, and quality control of climate and biodiversity projects, as well as ensuring compliance with standards.
Project management in the context of A/R forest climate projects. Preparation of forest inventories, project documentations and audits. Stakeholder relationship management with project partners in Europe and South America.
Drafting and revision of reports and briefings designed to inform policymakers and public about states and developments in the European environment as member of the Carbon Emissions and Removals Monitoring group. Communication with Eionet Partners and with the European Commission.
Data analysis, research on the impact of climate and land use change on ecosystem service provision and on the ecological-economic multifunctionality of ecosystems. Special focus on insurance values of biodiversity and on the role of soils as carbon sinks.
Military service at Gebirgsjägerbrigade 23, training in winter combat in the mountains, special training as animal transport leader, basic education in veterinary medicine and husbandry.
