As a curator for contemporary art, I have always deliberately built a bridge to earlier art history and have established points of contact with other disciplines like architecture and design. My work combines scientific research with a strong socio-political commitment and an experimental approach to conceive new communication formats.
As curator, I was responsible for the exhibition programme at the Museum Marta Herford. In 2004 I started working at the museum as a curatorial assistant at Marta Herford, which has been opened in 2005 under artistic direction of Jan Hoet. Since 2007 I am curating various solo and group exhibitions. Therefore I am familiar with the "pioneering work" as well as the complex process of building up an exhibition house.
