I worked closely with the Coordinator, under the supervision of the Executive Director, to effectively implement advocacy campaigns and research in promoting environmental conservation and ecologically sustainable development. Support research, preparation of short studies, and reports on key environmental issues in Sri Lanka. Contribute substantially toward education and awareness raising programs. Contribute towards Organizations projects, programs, and initiatives. I researched the Sri Lankan Environmental Impact Assessment system. This involved familiarizing myself with new legal systems and methods, but also gave me the experience of building a network of professionals and of the setup of an environmental organisation network.
