As a freelance journalist with a background in "Risk Communication and Crisis Journalism", I am focusing on uncovering the forces behind societal shifts, working at the intersection of research, storytelling, and data (OSINT). With my recently finished Master's thesis, I did a deep dive into accountability ecosystems surrounding investigative journalism, exploring how a holistic understanding of communication strategies can shape societal impact. This is also reflected in my journalistic work, with in-depth research and well-considered argumentation lines. Previous work got published at Tagesspiegel and Übermedien, focusing on public transport, fact-checking and media accountability. Additionally, my interdisciplinary Bachelor's in "Culture and Technology" and my previous work experience have equipped me with a toolkit for tackling complex topics such as sustainability, food systems, education, and technology assessment. Besides these expertise, I gained a diverse set of social skills through jobs such as team lead for organic food stores in Switzerland and Germany or coordinating the syllabus and eLearning with several hundred lecturers at ETH Zurich. 👋 If you are looking for someone who enjoys digging into complex topics and turning them into compelling stories, I would love to hear from you.
