Worked with CFLI to provide a week long residential experience to give young insights into carriers in the footballing industry.
I completed a placement at The CBI with their North East Regional Director. I spent a week with her attending meetings, working with colleagues, doing some confidential project work and completing an independent research project which I had to present and be questioned on at the end of the week. I also spent time with the CBI economists who talked about what their roles entail and how I might consider and pursue a career which incorporates economics and languages. I was invited to be part of the team organising and working at the 2021 CBI Annual Conference at The Port of Tyne in November 2021. The keynote speaker was the Prime Minister.
