About

Interdisciplinary strengths in the deep sciences, spanning mathematics, genomics, physics, AI research and engineering. Strong advocate for a rigorous and aggressive mathematical core in biology, uniting axiomatic frameworks from biophysics, stochastic-dynamical models from mathematical biology, and data-driven methods from computational biology. Join https://x.com/cellbiosf Working on two research projects: 1) Simulating Gene Regulatory Networks, in-silico, across cell-types and species. (Cognit AI) 2) Long-term cognitive machine memory. Real tasks are partially observable and non-stationary, so agents need efficient cognitive memory as part of the model to structure episodic memories to maintain belief, boost sample efficiency, avert catastrophic forgetting, solve long-horizon credit, and personalize behavior. • Founding Chair and Steward at CELL: Consortium for the Equations of Life and Living Systems
    Aug 2025 - Present · 11 mos

CELL (Consortium for the Equations of Life and Living Systems) is a collective grounded in Open Science principles. CELL fuses mathematical biology, biophysics, and computational biology into one rigorous front. For every generation, there is a frontier. In the last century, physics gave us the equations for the cosmos. In this century, we will write the equations for life. This is the great scientific challenge of our time. While biological data grows exponentially, our ability to predict the behavior of living systems lags behind. The gap isn't a lack of data; it's a lack of unifying theory. subscribe: https://cellbiosf.substack.com join: https://x.com/cellbiosf Together we build first-principles models that capture the governing dynamics of biology, aiming to predict and steer living systems with the precision physicists achieved over centuries.

  • Founder, AI Research & Engineering at Odylith.AI
    Jan 2026 - Present · 6 mos

Odylith stops coding agents from confidently doing the wrong thing. It makes coding agents operate like disciplined engineers instead of clever tourists. [Install] curl -fsSL https://odylith.ai/install.sh | bash Odylith is a repo-native, opensource coding operator. Install it into a repo, then use it through Codex or Claude Code from governed context instead of repo reconstruction. Odylith focuses on deep AI research in swarm intelligence and collective reasoning. We shall reveal why soon ;)

  • Founder, AI Research & Engineering at Cognit AI
    Oct 2022 - Present · 3 yrs 9 mos

At Cognit, we are attempting to build a frontier AI model from ground-up, for simulating the Gene Regulatory Networks of eukaryotes that operates across different cell types and species. The goal is to enable high-resolution functional genomics and simulate biological cells in-silico. We incorporate closed-loop, in-silico gene and cell engineering and redefining paradigms in genomics research. We are in our research phase. Simulating an entire GRN is extremely hard to do and we have long ways to go. There is quite some hype around this domain where people have claimed early victory as well. We are not there yet.
