About

Founder of Crayon Germany and Global SVP at SoftwareOne (including Crayon). I operate at the intersection of hyperscaler ecosystems, commercial strategy, and large-scale enterprise sales execution. Over the past 15+ years, I have built and scaled high-performance sales organizations across Europe and globally, with a strong focus on Microsoft, cloud transformation, and increasingly AI-driven business models. Following the combination of Crayon and SoftwareOne, we have created the global market leader in software and cloud solutions, helping organizations navigate vendor complexity and maximize the value of their technology investments. Our platform combines deep licensing expertise with services across cloud optimization, FinOps, and AI, enabling customers to innovate faster while staying in control of cost and risk. My core focus is turning market disruption into commercial opportunity. This includes: • Scaling global sales organizations and driving consistent double-digit growth • Translating shifts like cloud consumption, AI adoption, and licensing changes into executable sales plays • Winning and expanding complex enterprise accounts, including Fortune 500 organizations • Building high-impact teams that combine entrepreneurial execution with structured global go-to-market models I bring a hands-on, entrepreneurial leadership style with a strong bias for execution. I value clarity over complexity, outcomes over activity, and speed over perfection.

Experience

  • General Manager and SVP Global Direct Sales at Crayon
    Dec 2008 - Present · 17 yrs 8 mos

Crayon, founded in Oslo in 2002, has grown into a globally leading advisor in software, cloud, data and AI. I founded Crayon Germany in 2008 as part of the Crayon Group and led its expansion across the DACH region, including Austria and Switzerland, building a strong enterprise customer base and a high-performing sales organization. Together, SoftwareOne and Crayon operate across 90+ countries with 16,000 employees, combining deep hyperscaler partnerships with end-to-end capabilities across software sourcing, cloud optimization, FinOps, and AI-driven transformation. The joint platform uniquely integrates licensing expertise with high-value services, enabling customers to accelerate innovation while maintaining cost control and governance. In my role, I lead the global Microsoft strategy. The focus is on translating market shifts such as cloud consumption, AI adoption, and evolving licensing models into scalable commercial plays that deliver measurable ROI for customers and sustainable growth for the business.
