Currently I work as Senior Sales Manager for the Finnish Local Business unit PAPI - PMC (Paper, Metals and Cement), mainly concentrating on Pulp & Paper Customers. The unit is an pure Project unit that executes Electrification projects within the Industry segment. On a Global level mainly within Pulp and Paper Industry, in Finland we serve the whole Industry segment. In my role as Purchasing Manager, the main task was to support the sales and our project execution teams. I was in charge of negotiation yearly agreements with our own factories and 3rd party suppliers. Also finding, reviewing and auditing new suppliers was a part of the job description. As the deliveries in the project spans from High Voltage equipment down to auxiliary systems and equipments to installation materials, the amount of suppliers to manage is large. In EPC projects where installation and other site services was included, it was also my responsibility to find and assess local suppliers and contractors and to negotiate Contract's with the selected ones. As the Purchasing Manager I was part of the unit's management team and was the team leader of the purchasing and project forwarding and logistic teams.
