I lead IT, Procurement and Facilities at DataCamp — an AI-first education company with 17 million learners across five offices globally. IT exists to serve the business — not the other way around. My focus is simple: build the right conditions for a company to operate well and grow fast. The right tools, the right vendors, the right environments — and an IT operation that scales through intelligence, not headcount. I fix what needs fixing today — but my eye is always on where the company needs to be tomorrow. I've spent 20+ years in IT leadership at fast-growing tech companies — Collibra, Aaqua, DataCamp. The common thread: global scope, lean teams, and a bias for doing things right — without slowing things down. Finding that balance is where I'm at my best. Based in Spain, rooted in Belgium — regularly in London and New York, and wherever else the job takes me. Location has never been a limitation. I've always believed the best technology decisions start with understanding people — what they need, how they work, and how to take them with you. Procurement is where I save the most money nobody notices. I know what vendors quote and what they'll actually accept. That gap is always bigger than it should be. AI is at the core of everything we do. I make the governance calls and guide teams on how to work with it — that's one of the more complex and interesting parts of the job right now. I have a habit of seeing opportunities before they're obvious and moving on them. That's how most of the best things I've built started.
