*Be based in Lagos and manage the day-to-day running of the Lagos Bureau, including the editorial, administrative and commercial relationships Lead CNBC Africa’s presence in West Africa in terms of the channel’s reputation – editorially and commercially Manage and control CNBC Africa’s presence in Lagos, Nigeria - with strong editorial and administrative links to the Bureau Chief and CNBC Africa’s operations in Abuja. Ensure the best possible coverage for the Nigerian business community and stock exchange participants through CNBC Africa’s dedicated satellite links in Lagos and Abuja. Ensure that the Nigeria bureaus adhere to the standards set out by CNBC Africa in terms of style, presentation and coverage. Research, source, assign the production of daily programme inserts, source guests, conduct interviews and assist the CNBC Africa team in all aspects of news and business news coverage in Nigeria Identify and manage relationships with third party service providers in Nigeria. Liaise daily and weekly with the business news output department of CNBC Africa based in Sandton, South Africa, regarding editorial contributions from Lagos and other territories in West Africa. Forge relationships with the most influential sectors of the West African economy, including businesses, government and international representatives.
