Treasurer for the Cycling Society at the University of Leeds. This role utilised my time management, excel, spending analysis and stakeholder management skillset. Above all the main objective was making the society a welcoming and enjoyable experience for all members!
In my role as transport planning summer intern, a highlight was the opportunity to work on the West Yorkshire Combined Authority’s Mass Transit proposal. Policy researcher for the Urban Planning and Transport division in the Leeds Think Tank. This role builds on my interest in urban and regional economic development as well as the transport facilitating it. It gives me an outlet in which to conduct high quality research into an area of great personal interest. Through my research I applied my understanding of economics and politics to analyse trends in urban development effectively.
