I work at the intersection of AI, digital infrastructure, and real-world systems ; helping design and deliver the next generation of connected environments. My career has evolved across three broad phases, aligned with how technology itself has progressed: • Physical systems , industrial design and engineering in Milan, working on ICT and consumer products • Software systems, data-driven interfaces across mobile, automotive, and aeronautical environments • Infrastructure systems, network design, private 5G, neutral host architecture, and urban digital platforms Across these different domains, a consistent question has remained: How do we design systems that work (technically, commercially, operationally, and socially )in the real world? That thread has carried through my work from industrial design and connected devices to automotive ICT, neutral host infrastructure, smart cities, and now AI-enabled urban systems. Today, my work centres on: • Private and neutral host network architectures • Distributed AI and edge-enabled infrastructure • Smart city and urban digital systems • Digital innovation for healthcare and accessibility • Bridging public policy, infrastructure investment, and technology delivery With AI now moving from analysis into action, the boundaries between infrastructure, software, and physical systems are rapidly disappearing. The next phase will not simply be digital. It will be integrated, distributed, and embedded into the physical environments in which we live and work
In my new role as Director at New Wave Networks Ireland, I am spearheading the advancement of 5G IoT connectivity solutions for Buildings, Cities, and Farms. By focusing on Machine to Machine integration and personalized services, we aim to revolutionize the end user experience, providing innovative and relevant IoT Solutions as well as increase operational efficiency of next generation of networks and resource management.
• Managed regulatory requirements with ComReg as a network operator in a regulated market. • Ensured compliance with industry standards and regulations to maintain operational efficiency. • Collaborated with cross-functional teams to implement regulatory changes and updates.
• Prepared bids for public and private sector tenders for wholesale Small Cell Neural Host RAN as a Service package. • Managed bid proposal process for Dense Air Ireland in County Dublin, Ireland. • Utilized strong negotiation skills to secure contracts and partnerships. • Achieved a 25% increase in bid acceptance rate through strategic proposal development.

Dense Air Ireland was established as a wholesale network provider for innovative 4G LTE & 5G “ SCaaS ( Small Cell as a Service) “Neutral Host” products for MNO’s. Dense Air mission is enhancing coverage in underperforming areas quickly and affordably. They provide in and outdoor solutions for MNO’s and secure private networks for hospitals, hospitality, industrial manufacturing , transport facilities & ports. Achievements : • Planned & Managed deployment of a commercial grade 4G & 5G National Radio Network. • Localized the Irish Marketing & Sales strategy ,engaging with MNO’s & Multination Corporations. Oversaw 37 PoC’s in 6 years with MNO’s Industry & Academia. • Sales Roles: Identifying 4G LTE & 5G smart network & market opportunities, as well as identifying local partners and suppliers. • Smart Docklands Deployment: lead and interface on the (first of a kind) 4G LTE & 5G “Smart Docklands” test-bed deployment with Dublin City Council & Trinity College Dublin. • Private Network Deployments: Pioneered an innovative high speed secure private network deployments in Ireland. • NBP National Broadband Plan: Local project lead & “preferred bidder” supplier for NBI on the “alternative technologies” section of the National Broadband Plan. • CONNECT & TEAGASC: Creator & project Lead on the CONNECT “National Small Cell Neutral Host Test Bed”, linking 21 Irish universities into a single secure high speed 88 Small Cell Radio 4GLTE & 5G national testbed. This is the first network of its kind in the world. • Compliance: As a network operator & holder of spectrum I was responsible for the supervision of regulatory compliance and relations management with ComReg, the national regulator.
• Co-founded Home Dialysis Solutions Ltd with Italian medical software partners Eurosoft to develop innovative home care solutions for Haemo dialysis patients. • Created a Training & Management App with bio sensors and secure video link for hospital-doctor-patient connectivity. • Improved medical outcomes and reduced healthcare costs through software training tools for Patients & Nurses.
• Conducted in-depth industry research, UX testing, and development to integrate ICT and mobile communication products into driver cockpits and passenger areas for safe driving and positive user experiences. • Provided comprehensive consulting Design & Innovation services to clients, customizing solutions to meet customer requirements. • Analyzed testing data to produce valuable customer reports and academic papers.
