About

I'm a driven worker who likes to build things that will hopefully help solve important problems in the world. Discovering new things and getting to know people and their strengths are also things I appreciate a lot. Apart from work, I have many interests that include reading books (sci-fi & non-fiction mostly), music (singing, guitar & DJing), travelling and much more!

Great program where I had the opportunity to be part of different teams inside of Siemens DI. For the first 8 months of the program, I was part of the Digital Solutions (DIS) team where we develop different innovative software applications and projects to digitalize multiple industries. I worked mainly as a developer on 2 applications: Brownfield Analytics and SieMoni. Brownfield Analytics is a part of the software of a larger application called Brownfield Connectivity Gateway that connects many machines on the factory shopfloor to an easy-to-use interface where one can management, connect the shopfloor machines and collect and post-process the machines' data. This data is then used inside Brownfield Analytics (on which I worked) to show an overview of the machines, their health, KPIs and other important metrics in a great and intuitive interface. I worked on the frontend and backend of that app. The 2nd application I spent most of my development time on is SieMoni, an emission-monitoring and analytics software for flues where the measurements are compliant with the European norm EN17255 for gases emitted in the atmosphere. I did back-end development for the app until the end of the first 8 months of the young graduate program. For the next 5 months of the program I worked in the Analyzer products of the Measurement Intelligence team. There I helped with commissioning of the computers running SieMoni at our customers in for example the Oil & Gas industry. I also did project management and FAT tests for large projects where the goal was to deliver CEMS (continuous emission-monitoring system) cabinets and do Siemens PLC programming. This was a great program where the goal was to learn about the workings of different teams inside Siemens DI and tons of skills along the way. I thank Siemens DI Belgium for this great opportunity!
