I am an international finance and capital markets lawyer with over 25 years professional experience, 18 of which as partner at what’s now A&O Shearman. Most recently, I joined Latham & Watkins. I advise on a broad range of capital markets and financing transactions, with a focus on structured finance and products utilising capital markets, securitisation and derivatives technology. I am a pre-eminent adviser to the CLO market, and am listed as a leading structured finance lawyer (Band #1) in Chambers, "Highly Regarded" in IFLR 1000 and a leading structured products and securitisation lawyer listed in the Legal 500 ‘Hall of Fame’. As well as having developed and continuing to lead a best-in-class structured finance legal practice, I apply my skills and experience for the benefit of social sectors and causes. I advise various wholesale participants, intermediaries, investors and investee charities and social enterprises in the social finance market on products and market infrastructure. I am on the board of trustees of Access - the Foundation for Social Investment, where I also chair the blended finance investment committee and am a member of the endowment investment committee.
