The team is responsible for implementing Mission A and the associated multi-year Mission-Driven Innovation Programs (MMIPs) under the Dutch Climate Agreement. Mission A focuses on achieving a CO₂-free electricity system. The Mission Innovation Team oversees innovation activities led by various Top Consortia for Knowledge and Innovation (TKIs), in close collaboration with the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) and the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO).

Founded in 1998, Solarcentury delivered over 4 GWp of solar and storage across 1,000+ sites in four continents, helping more than 25,000 homeowners go solar. Our projects included major developments and breakthroughs in the Netherlands, Mexico, Chile, the UK, and Spain. Today, as part of Statkraft, they continue to develop, finance, build, and operate large-scale solar projects worldwide, with a 6 GWp pipeline across four continents and offices in seven countries.
