Responsible for running the befriending program and the Dementia exercise program in Brahm Centre. The befriending program in Singapore consists of managing the befriender pool, ensuring their safety and mental health whilst going to elderly that are lonely, or at risk of getting estranged with community. The other part is to profile the local elderly community of our responsible area (mainly Simei) and making sure they meet their social/befriending needs if necessary. The exercise program, HAPPY, was introduced by AIC in 2018 to give the elderly the option to have some physical/mental activity in the morning. It has been proven that physical as well mental challenges helps our brain to be more stimulated and reduces the risk of onset of dementia, or slows it down.
Transfer from Nijmegen to Singapore to assist the local team in training and building up the application support for our wireless connectivity products.
