Experience

  • Business Analyst at T-Mobile
    Oct 2001 - Jul 2017 · 15 yrs 10 mos

As a principal architect of the Enterprise Integration team, I was responsible for introducing - design, coding and testing standards - tools to enforce the coding and testing standards - an automated regression test environment - code generators - tools supporting the analysis and correction of production incidents As a result, both the coding/testing cost and the number of bugs were reduced with a factor 2 to 3. As a member of the architect team of the IT department, I advised on projects that might affect the IT architecture. As a senior business analist of the EI team, I reviewed many project designs. For projects that had a major impact on the EI architecture, I often was responsible for the design. In some cases, I also was responsible for implementing parts of the project. Typically, this concerns prototypes, development tools or complex/critical parts of the architecture. As a troubleshooter, I often was the last resort to fix all sorts of problems.
