      Main responsibilities: Local data centers, local network, local generic applications and services and manufacturing applications including factory automation . Key projects 2018/2020 key application renewal in the area or transport control systems, real time location systems and scheduling systems and platform standardization. Key projects in 2015/2017 divestment of Ampleon, integration with Free scale and divestment of Nexperia. Build new datacenter and transfer systems to it while keeping the factory running. Support factory improvement projects requiring significant IT contributions. Find synergies within the combined NXP and Freescale Manufacturing IT organisation. Key projects in 2014/2015 focus on supporting the local factory to achieve benchmark cost levels (measured as cost per mask layer), and to improve the maintenance state of the application landscape: bring purchased applications to supported levels and upgrade the software stack of in house developed applications. Key projects in 2012/ 2014 included almost complete infrastructure renewal: database consolidation and standardization, upgrades to supported versions of databases and operating systems, storage renewal, server consolidation and standardization (including massive virtualization), LAN renewal. In the process achieved huge reductions in number of configuration items, data center floor space and power consumption needed, cost of maintenance and support.
