I recently graduated from Boston University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, and am passionate about clean energy and sustainable technologies. I am curious about all things thermodynamic, particularly heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and materials science. I also love to ski and windsurf when I have the chance.
• Modeled new grit blast masking in NX and assembled physical prototype, proving concept, to reduce overspray issues and decrease process cycle time. • Standardized organizational system for gages and explored new method for producing shadow boards using NX. • Investigated avenues for analyzing machine probing data to improve data driven decision making. • Engaged multiple disciplines within company to achieve project goals.
• Developed automated droplet printing system using PipeJet NanoDispenser, CNC Router, & Syringe Pump along with custom designed components to dispense droplets, on order of 10nL, for use in combinatorial chemistry. • Created open loop control system stemming from MATLAB generated G-Code file sent to CNC, which in turn sent signals to other system components using analogue TTL circuitry. • Collected data on PipeJet accuracy with FLIR Grasshopper3 camera and ImageJ image processing software to measure droplet locations. • Granted Student Research Award from Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program for spring semester 2022.
