About

I was a professional cyclist from 1995 to 2001. Following the 9/11 attacks in New York, where I lived as a rider on the Navigators team, I chose to end my racing career and return to Belgium. Starting in 2002, I transitioned to the role of Sports Director at the Australian iTeamNova team, and later held similar positions across five different continents. In 2021, Scott Guyton and Murray Bolton approached me with the idea of forming a new professional cycling team. Within two years, our team achieved the distinction of being the best UCI Continental Team. By 2023, we elevated to a UCI Pro Team status, we moved to 21st in the UCI team ranking. Unfortunately our main sponsor had to stop backing the team due to the financial crisis in his sector. I currently combine my work in the professional peloton as a sports director with Intermarché-Wanty (World Tour Team) with my role as a team leader for the junior riders of Hot Tubes USA.
