Caliber Sales and Marketing (CSM) began on July 1, 2001, as the result of the purchase of Charles Lehman Co. (founded 1967), a Southern California food broker specializing in Trader Joe's. We represent suppliers in grocery, non-edible grocery, frozen, refrigerated and fresh private label, control brand, and national brand products. Our product range includes conventional, all natural, and organic offerings, with an emphasis on Asian, Hispanic, ethnic and specialty items. We offer tremendous value for our suppliers and customers by providing single point of contact business management on a global and national scale, with my emphasis being on Costco, Sprouts and Whole Foods new business development and item pioneering.
Sales strategy, category management and business development of branded and private label products in Costco D13, D18 and D19, leading direct sales to Costco Corporate, US Domestic and Mexico regions. Day to day includes 12 month fiscal and calendar year planning, creating impactful national/global volume incentive, promotional and demo programs to increase top line sales and drive member trial, global branded and private label item development, and building cross functional teams to support account management and sales growth. Directed a 4 year tripling of the organization's Costco business with total global sales exceeding $100MM. Secured the organization's first global volume buy commitment on fresh meal kits and frozen snacks, totaling nearly $50MM in sales alone.

Managed an internal cross functional team of 15 employees across multiple departments including marketing, product development, research and development, corporate quality assurance and customer service/logistics. During my tenure, I executed a $30MM sales increase, managing the global expansion and product refresh of the Kirkland Signature and Solo Branded cutlery program, and adding regional distribution of Solo branded plastic clear cups, party cups and paper hot cups.
