- Pick up, carry, and empty refuse or recycling containers into truck. - Operate mechanisms for loading, dumping, and compressing waste and other refuse. - Move truck while servicing route. - Inform new customers of service charges and regulations. - Check refuse collection equipment to insure good operating condition. - Report vacant houses to supervisor as a means of keeping route book current. - Drive truck to and from location of work assignment. - Keep records and prepare reports of operations and activities. - Supervise the work of other crew members. - Operate equipment and/or vehicles including 1/2 ton pick-up and dump trucks, articulating drive front-end loaders, street flushers, refuse packers, and other related equipment. - Load and unload trucks, either by operating equipment or picking up, carrying, and emptying refuse containers into trucks. - Perform minor maintenance and servicing of assigned vehicle. - Transport personnel, materials, and equipment. - Hand sweep or shovel debris and rubbish. - Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections. - Perform other related duties as assigned.
*Meet airport users and provide information regarding tie-down, shelter space, hangars, airport facilities, and related information; request airport patrons to observe rules and regulations. *Maintain transient aircraft ramp; may direct aircraft parking; tag transient aircraft, collect fees and issue receipts for airport charges; may check parked aircraft for proper tie-down and chocks. *Use a personal computer to access aircraft, pilot, and tenant databases *Patrol airport: airside, landside, and perimeter to maintain the security of the airport. *Inspect runways, taxiways, lights, and other airport facilities for hazards; notify Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) of hazards to airport operations, notify Assistant Airport Manager or designee of hazards to airport operations to ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner. *Operate and perform minor maintenance on light equipment such as pickup trucks and other county vehicles. *Inspect and perform routine maintenance on runway and taxiway lights, rotating beacon, and windsocks to ensure they are working within airport standards. *Maintain radio contact with the control tower when required; issue Notices to Airmen when needed; assist in locating source of Emergency Locator Transmitter (ELT) signals. *Respond to emergencies in the airport by coordinating and supporting fire and other emergency services as necessary. *As assigned, may act in the absence of the Airport Operations Supervisor. *Perform other duties as required.
*Loading and unloading of luggage and airfreight from the aircraft. *Operate ground equipment including baggage tugs, belt loaders, airstairs and pushback tractors. *Responsible for the weight and balance of the aircraft, maintaining safety and security of the ramp at all times. *Observe safe ground handling procedures and maintenance of ground handling equipment, including performing equipment checks. *Constant communication with operations, flights crew personnel and other ground personnel. *Clean the aircraft before every flight.
*Follow all company policies and procedures and Federal regulations. *Collect and count money as instructed by terms on invoices; adjust invoices noting returns, shorts and damages. *Safely and courteously operate a tractor-trailer while delivering products to customer's location in a timely manner. *Dust the vents, repair and adjust the columns so customers can receive their product of choice. *Disassemble bill and coin validators for any jams to complete my shift while complying with company rules. *Sell and keep records of sales of products from the trucks inventory.
