About

I’m a semiconductor scientist with passion in photonics. My endeavors are focused on the engineering of optoelectronic and photonic devices to provide the next generation light sources tailored to communication, sensing, and lighting applications as well as single photon emitters required for quantum cryptography and quantum computing. • 10+ years’ work experience of development, fabrication and characterization of semiconductor films and optoelectronic devices • multidisciplinary expertise: device design - metalorganic vapor phase epitaxy (MOVPE/MOCVD -optical spectroscopy (Photo-, Electro-, Cathodoluminescence, Ellipsometry, Photometry) - electron microscopy - thin film deposition, vacuum and cryogenic technology • project work abroad (USA) and strong international communication skills – publication, presentation, and teaching • National Academies of Sciences (USA) awarded project on vertical emitting UV laser • leadership experience and management of scientific laboratories • strong technical understanding, hands-on mentality
