Experienced Semiconductor Equipment Engineer with Managerial/Supervisory experience.
On shift management of EES Team comprising of Maintenance Technicians and PM Technicians with respect to daily activities, administration, reviews, and training. Liaise with Equipment Tool Owners to determine specific Maintenance needs, to maximize availability and assist in the improvement of the performance of the systems. Liaise with Manufacturing Supervisor to determine shift priorities and coordinate EES Team activities around those needs to ensure Manufacturing goals are met. Champion 5S initiative on shift. Troubleshooting of Semiconductor Manufacturing equipment in the Etch Group including Lam (including Alliance systems), Mattson Aspen2, Axcellis, Gasonics, Steag and Akrion systems. Provide a focal point for EES shift responsibilities.
Liaising with the full customer base ensuring the highest quality of service. Project Managing the remanufacturing of Mattson Aspen systems from the initial RFQ thru configuration, planning, parts ordering, the manufacturing and finally installation of the product. Responsible for 4 manufacturing/service engineers. Installing Semiconductor Manufacturing equipment at customer sites worldwide, organizing and providing onsite support with respect to breakdowns. Providing Training for customers both onsite and off site.
Directing Maintenance Operations at customer site with respect to administering engineering staff, coordinating planned maintenance work and responding to unplanned maintenance or production equipment. Providing UK Customers with onsite PM and Unscheduled assistance and fulfilling training requirements on Mattson Production Equipment. Ensuring Compliance of and Generation of Environmental and Health & Safety procedures for Sematek activities at the customer site.
