Take the open approach to build one new vehicle grade operating system, through one modular EV and software defined platform to enable a new supply chain for connected autonomous driving and Mobility as a service, drive open dataset and AI algorithms' improvement in AV motion planning and decision 2. Leverage open source technologies including Kafka, Hadoop/Spark, TensorFlow etc. framework to build a cloud platform enabling applications development and operation in network design, deployment, operation and optimization areas
1. Set technology strategies and initiatives for cloud platform, SDN/NFV, big data and ML/DL in business areas of network service planing, optimization, operation, and customer experience management, drove USD $40M+ technology investments annually 2. Took the industry initiative to work with AT&T, China Mobile etc. global 50+ operators to have established the first Telecommunication industry most influencing open source project - ONAP(Open Network Automation Platform) for network service life-cycle orchestration, automation and intelligence ; 3. Cultivated the team and leaders development to ramp up the technology realization team to 50+ developers from scratch, worked with service engineering team to have implemented the "Service cloud" platform framework to have achieved 30%higher service delivery efficiency
Chief software engineer of a solution product development team with 200+ staffs including product management, architecture, software development and service delivery, built the first version "SmartCare" product which is a service solution based on a big data analytic platform for network performance, service optimization and customer service management. This product has enabled service teams to serve global 1/3 network operators' networks and supports service revenue over 2 billion $USD annually for Huawei Global Service business unit
Chief software architect has implemented next generation IRIS probe product to support network intelligent management solution for global tier 1 operators. IRIS probes have been monitoring worldwide 30% of operator network traffic including 3G, 4G mobile network and fixed/IP network. Responsible for customer requirement analysis, architect design, software framework implementation and product development
