- Respond to telephone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries regarding student's financial accounts. - Assist with billing adjustments to student's accounts. - Call past due accounts to collect outstanding balances. - Assist with the administration on the monthly payment plan. - Research transactions and perform analysis of student's account balances. - Manually adjust accounts. - Run reports to communicate with students about open account balances and late monthly payment plan payments.
- Responsible for the administration of over $48 million in federal, state, and institutional financial aid to over 6,000. - Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and make policy recommendations. - Provide staff with professional development and training opportunities on federal and state financial aid regulations. - Provide cross training to various college offices. - Assist with enrollment management initiatives in collaboration with the Admissions, Advising, Registrar, and Bursar Offices. - Collaborate with the Bergen Community College Foundation to award donor scholarships. - Respond to programs reviews from the U.S. Department of Higher Education and New Jersey Higher Education Assistance Authority.
