I was teaching entrepreneurship to recently arrived in Montreal adults. This is a class with a high drop out rate. Out of 24 participants, I managed to have 21 students completing the first course, and 22 for my second course.
Master thesis 1st prize out of 150 students in the department for my research project at the Fluid Structure Interactions chair of Polytechnique Montréal about "two phase flows" • Analysis of the behaviour of an air liquid flow in a steam generator thanks to physical understanding and experimental studies. • Use of machine learning with Matlab to classify the different two phase flow patterns.
X. Y. Zhu group is a leading group in light matter interaction. Its objective is to develop new photophysical mechanisms to improve the efficiency of solar cells. As a research intern I was working on a team built experiment to understand the surprisingly important efficiency in solar cells of a new material. • Optimization of the picosecond resolved experiment, thanks to my knowledge of optics and material science. • Training of a recently hired graduate student to carry on the work.
Internship as a Web developer in an award winning start up. • In charge of the database migration from Sql to MongoDb for the Leadsius project.. • Contribution to the improvement of the database organization for the mailing application.
