Responsibilities include overseeing and managing the international accounting and financial reporting processes, including ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards and US GAAP; directing the development and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures for the Global accounting team and for the Country Office Finance teams; overseeing the consolidation effort and ensure the global accounting team is prepared for the US GAAP consolidated financial statement audit as well as all individual country audits. This position also plays a key role in establishing and maintaining internal controls over financial reporting and in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial information. Finally, the AD, Global Accounting also plays a critical role in assessing Country Office Finance team capabilities and capacity.
