I’m the President and CEO of CGI, where I lead a global team dedicated to delivering innovative technology solutions and trusted business insights that create value for clients, employees, and shareholders. Throughout my extensive career at CGI, I have held progressive leadership roles. Most recently, as President and Chief Operating Officer, I led operations across Canada, the U.S. and Asia Pacific, while overseeing our internal digital strategy to best support clients worldwide. As Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer from 2014 to 2022, I oversaw global financial operations and key strategic functions including internal audit, investment management, and ESG initiatives. During this time, I also led transformational mergers with IMRGlobal, Cognicase, AMS, Stanley, and Logica integrating teams and capabilities to enhance our client offerings. François oversees CGI’s operations in Canada, U.S. Commercial and State Government, Asia Pacific Global Delivery Centers of Excellence, and Global IP Solutions. François is a part of CGI’s Executive Management Committee, which oversees the implementation of the company’s enterprise-wide strategy. In addition, François continues to lead CGI’s Global CIO function, which is responsible for CGI’s digital strategy.
François led CGI’s global financial operations and the company’s investor relations strategy and activities worldwide. François was also responsible for CGI’s Global CIO function, which is responsible for the company’s enterprise digital strategy, as well as numerous functions that work to fulfill CGI’s high standards of business performance and core value of financial strength. These functions include internal audit, investment management, procurement, real estate and corporate social responsibility, one of CGI’s long-held core values.
