• Responsible for Government policy analysis and development of thematical briefs regarding climate change, disaster risk reduction and sustainability. • Represented Paraguay in several multilateral and intergovernmental meetings (i.e. Unasur, Mercosur, Global Wash Conference), as well as bilateral country meetings. • Led the process of securing external funding for government initiatives, managing £2M in grants • Designated focal point for donors, UN Agencies and international NGOs that worked on disaster risk reduction within the Government. (i.e. ECHO, USAID, KOICA, OCHA, UNISDR, ICRC, among others).
