Francis MacDonald 585 O’Connor St. Unit 20 Ottawa, Ontario K1S 3R2 April 18th, 2017 To whom it may concern, My name is Francis MacDonald and I have recently finished my program Algonquin College in the HVACR program. Through this program, I have written and received my OBT2 and G2 licenses. I was also able to receive my ODP, Ipex system 636, and Gastite certification over this last year. Over the time spent at Algonquin College, I was offered a position to assist a course teacher in the maintenance of our heating, cooling and hydronic labs. In doing so I was tasked with maintaining mid and high efficiency furnaces, hot water tanks, some A coil maintenance, replace and fix parts, conduct efficiency testing as well as flue gas analysis and adjust as need be, install or replace gas or oil lines to the units, maintain cleanliness of the labs, maintain order of stock and parts, as well as other small tasks. I finished the course at Algonquin College with a GPA of 3.80 and I am expecting to graduate with honors. My school work reflects my work ethic, I give it my all and aim for perfection. I am heavily invested in this course and am very eager to enter this field of work. In the past I had started a plumbing apprenticeship and worked within the trade for two years, I also went to school for my basic and intermediate license. Sadly, I did not pursue this trade at the time but I did gain great experience within the residential and new construction aspect of the trade. Over the years, I also have had numerous customer service positions. Both of these aspects I believe would help me within this trade as well. I hope to find a position within a professional company to gain experience and to have the opportunity to grow and learn as much as possible. I have attached my resume, I hope to hear back from you shortly. Thank you for taking the time to review my resume, Francis MacDonald
