I used to be in the hospitality industry for more than 12 years and now I’m currently working in wood manufacturing. Enjoying a completely different industry but I do miss the crazy hotel and restaurant industry.
I was responsible for the Hotel’s Food and Beverage operations that includes 2 outlets, bar, in-room dining, café and banquet. Maintain excellent quality of guest service and hotel reputation. Achieve revenue target and profitability of the department. Develops the department’s human resource. Ensured consistency in quality of service provided in restaurants, bar and banquets. Ensured that the Hotel Food Safety Program is strictly implemented. Established an annual promotion (marketing) and menu plan with the Executive Chef. Interacted with hotel guests and dining guests to solicit feedbacks and promote the hotel. Responsible for training of food and beverage service team members. Met regularly with key suppliers to negotiate and ensure maximum service. Managed social media platform and answered all queries and online customer complaints.
