15+ years of Accounting experience in international companies and 7+ years management experience / Extensive knowledge of HGB, Swiss GAAP FER and US-GAAP / IFRS Experience creating and managing new departments: designing roles, functions, reporting relationships and maximizing processes and efficiencies / Fully responsible for all monthly, quarterly, and year end Accounting, Reporting and Consolidation / Management and financial analysis of P&L and Balance Sheet several entities / Liaison with internal and external auditors / SOX and all compliance topics / Open minded, dedicated, motivated and capable of handling a changing and complex environment / several experience in SAP Implementation projects / strong experience with finance shared service centers.
Manage the Smith & Nephew accounting team in Switzerland Manage and complete the monthly closing and reporting procedures for multiple legal entities Prepare targeted financial reports by collecting, analysing and summaring account information and trends Perform financial and procedural analysis to recommend and develop process improvements Assist with financial, tax and insurance audits
