About

Since I was a child I like to discover new things and this has led me to several questions, which always make me search for in-depth information as in a newspaper article, book, or blog, is a characteristic of a curious nature. I am always the one who takes first-hand information from my friends and family. My curiosity led me to a Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (Brazil) and a Double Master in Sciences at Laval Univeristy (Canada) and Bordeaux University (France) Since the beginning of my education, I have always been motivated to study and research topics that I really love. My greatest wish is to be able to help people through my research. I am currently working on the discovery of the immunogenic potential of dietary postbiotics. In order to develop new gnotobiotic diets, such as use diets that can reduce the risk of developing cardiometabolic diseases. When I'm not researching, I like to read and go out with friends to parks and museums. If you want to know more about my research, please contact me.

The iGEM Competition is an annual, worldwide synthetic biology event aimed at undergraduate university students, as well as high school and graduate students. The iGEM Competition gives students the opportunity to push the boundaries of synthetic biology by tackling everyday issues facing the world. Multidisciplinary teams work together to design, build, test, and measure a system of their own design using interchangeable biological parts and standard molecular biology techniques. I am a member of the Université Laval team. https://www.facebook.com/equipeiGEMULaval/ https://www.instagram.com/igem_ulaval/
