Founded a startup working on hospitality optimization at the NEST - Hatchery program at U of T, and was one of the winning teams out of 150+ applicants and 40+ participants. Established a partnership with a large multi-national restaurant group and ran in-person testing of our algorithms and models, with early tests suggesting up to a 2.5% increase in revenue. Developed a machine learning model to predict the number of guests that visit a restaurant each day, and an optimization algorithm to assign servers and reservations based on historical data.
Developed a prototype head-tracking system for a 0-gravity compatible VR headset for use in astronaut training on board the International Space Station FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) optimization of software to reduce glass to glass passthrough latency
