Launched in 2013, AdmitSee is a rapidly growing EdTech startup that aims to bring transparency to college admissions and leveling the playing field. We are a crowd-sourced college and graduate school application resource. With accepted students uploading their college application materials (SAT scores, personal statements, accepted schools, etc), current applicants can see for themselves what their chances are and what they can do to stand out. Applicants can also communicate with current students for $19/mo. By providing affordable and accessible college admissions resources, AdmitSee strives to help applicants make informed decisions and turn their dream school into their school! • Manage the AdmitSee brand and core value through communications channels including marketing programs, campaigns and promotions, advertising, digital content and social media • Develop, execute and organize all marketing documents, which includes copy write and graphic design. • Lead and inspire marketing team to creatively contribute to vision and position AdmitSee as the leading college admissions resource. • Maintain a real-time understanding of the competitive landscape to help determine marketing positioning and messaging, and communicate relevant competitive trends to the AdmitSee team regularly • Collect and generate data reports (SQL) on user behavior to discover trends to improve engagement and conversion. • Monitor and analyze metrics using Google Analytics to measure marketing effectiveness • Oversee the customer success effort to develop customer relationships that promote retention and loyalty
• Managed the social media strategy for AdmitSee; focusing on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+, Tumblr and Instagram • Designed and executed creative digital content for AdmitSee's social media platforms and AdmitSee's blog • Managed and contributed to AdmitSee's content marketing strategy: Wrote creative blog posts based on trending college stories, events, sports, and news, as well as proofread, edited and fact-checked incoming blog posts • Developed and implemented the AdmitSee Internship Program for student interns at 300+ colleges and universities • Oversaw the recruitment, training, and management of a team of 50+ interns, selected from top schools throughout United States and Canada
• Wrote and published blog posts on the college application process and on college experiences • Reached out to international college counselors and test preps for marketing and advertising purposes to expand and establish international partnerships • Managed data content on AdmitSee.com by summarizing and tracking profiles • Executed digital marketing and advertising strategies using various social media outlets: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr, Google+
• Built and managed a diverse team of 22 members to reach out to student organizations at Georgetown • Designed marketing campaign to enhance Course Hero brand image on campus and delegated campaign responsibilities to team members • Contributed 1,200+ documents and donated 100+ books for the Knowledge Drive – a partnership with Books of Africa
