The facilitated strategy execution method makes it a lot easier to do so. Furthermore Agilium also delivers leadership development services aimed at making any top management team grow in its capability to work together effectively and spur the company towards exceptional results. The method that I transfer to top teams is the baseline for that development.
GreenApes has been for me like going back to the roots. I had studied environmental management in 1999-2000 and then did a PhD on the topic too, but never quite had the opportunity to really feel I was impacting on the way the world treats the earth in a significant way. GreenApes is exactly that. Now at start-up level has the objective to make it easy, fun and cool for everybody in our everyday life to do the best possible environmental choice and action, through the interaction of a system made of mobile applications and social media.
The work of facilitation brought me to build and project manage the association of aerospace industry in the lazio region. This organization, now best described as a cluster, called LAZIO CONNECT, now counts over 40 organizations and has been running successfully for over 3 years. WHAT DID I LEARN In order to make people collaborate (in Italy) you need first to make sure they understand very well there are no downsides. Only once this is achieved you can work on getting them excited with the upsides. Developing inter-company collaboration and trust takes time, but it becomes extremely powerful once in place.
I use the Balanced Scorecard Process as the basis of my intervention. The intervention helps the leader of a management team, as well as its members, to clarify objectives, indicators and projects that are at the basis of the desired improvement. It also assists in developing new (good) habits of discussion and analysis of the information made available. According to client interviews this increases by 30% the capability of management team to reach the desired performance goals. WHAT DID I LEARN This process works across all industries and sizes of organizations but it displays its full potential if in presence of a leadership style that empowers the people and likes collaboration
