Monitoring and evaluation of projects and proposals within the H2020 framework (biggest EU Research and Innovation programme)
Supported the operation, maintenance and mid-term evolution of EUMETSAT Copernicus Long Term Archive services, software, functions and facilities in accordance with EUMETSAT's quality assurance, configuration and change management processes, following the full projects and software development life cycle. - Manage the related service and maintenance contracts and closely coordinate maintenance activities with the responsible Operations Engineers. - Contribute to the mid-term evolution planning and management of relevant projects in relation to agreed Copernicus evolutions. - Responsible for the maintenance of the baseline documentation of the related services, functions and S/W applications. - Support the initiation and follow-up of relevant procurements such as hardware, software and maintenance services. - Support management to coordinate external partners: draft SoW, monitor progress of work, provide technical review of progress reports and other deliverables, lead progress meetings, review key project milestones and participate in user acceptance testing
Supported the creation of the Service Centre Platform of Telespazio, developed in the framework of European Space Agency (ESA)'s contracts (Development, AIV and demonstration phases). I followed up several GSA projects. The overall objective of those projects was to demonstrate and validate Tracking and Tracing (T&T) technologies and services making the most of EGNOS/Galileo characteristics (e.g., signal integrity, service warranty) and interoperability with others Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) providers. - Coordinate and control project activities of the internal and external S/W team, including requirements specifications, architectural design, development, integration, test and on-line deployment of validated software; - Preparation of AIT (Assembly Integration & Test) specifications, planning and procedures. - Provide support to Quality Control, Configuration and Change Management activities;
