Francesco Raveggi serves as Amazon’s Director of Environment, Health, and Safety for European Customer Fulfillment and Emerging Markets. In his role, he oversees a team of more than 700 EHS professionals managing safe operations at almost 130 sites worldwide. Francesco has over 25 years of experience in EHS across several industries including logistics, oil and gas, manufacturing, and mining. Throughout his career, Raveggi managed global EHS teams as well as EHS integration of newly acquired business, new product lines, and factories. In his previous roles, Raveggi was HSE Director for General Motors Europe and Program Integration Leader for Anglo American, a global mining company. Raveggi spent over 20 years with General Electric Oil & Gas as the global EHS manager of O&G services. Raveggi is a law graduate with a specialization in Occupational Safety and Labor Law
