Francesco Raveggi serves as Amazon’s Director of Environment, Health, and Safety for European Customer Fulfillment and Emerging Markets. In his role, he oversees a team of more than 700 EHS professionals managing safe operations at almost 130 sites worldwide. Francesco has over 25 years of experience in EHS across several industries including logistics, oil and gas, manufacturing, and mining. Throughout his career, Raveggi managed global EHS teams as well as EHS integration of newly acquired business, new product lines, and factories. In his previous roles, Raveggi was HSE Director for General Motors Europe and Program Integration Leader for Anglo American, a global mining company. Raveggi spent over 20 years with General Electric Oil & Gas as the global EHS manager of O&G services. Raveggi is a law graduate with a specialization in Occupational Safety and Labor Law
SHE Lead responsible of Safety & Sustainable Development programs integration across business units, operations and supporting functions. Responsibility, at corporate level, covers the full spectrum of global mining activities (Copper, Iron Ore, Platinum and Diamonds) and exploration.
Directly reporting to GM Manufacturing VP for Europe and GM ESHS Global Director, leader of ESHS programs and ESHS team composed by 90 employees. Responsibility cover: engineering centers, 17 manufacturing plants, customer care services warehouses and regional headquarters with 45000 employees in total. Executive as per GM professional bands.
EHS Leader – Directly reporting to GE Power Conversion CEO - Responsible of Environment, Health, Safety and Security. Leader for HSE programs for design, manufacturing, commissioning and after-market services of electrical rotating machines, electrical drives and control systems. Responsibility covers 18 manufacturing sites globally distributed plus field activities with 9000 employees in total. Executive as per GE professional banding.
EHS Ldr - Directly reporting to GE O&G GS Global Operations Ldr. - Responsible of Environment, Health and Safety corporate dpt. for Global Services division (+2 B$ Sales). Leader for HSE programs concerning Installation of gas turbines and centrifugal compressors, Oil & Gas plant erection and maintenance c/o customers - approx.500 jobsites in 50 countries. Area covered includes also globally distributed Repair Services workshops (Nigeria; Qatar). Executive as per Italian professional bands, Member of Nuovo Pignone S.p.a Board of Directors.
